The TV commercial tells the story of Pete and his wife. Pete is a singer who has lived a “less ordinary life” and wants to continue doing one of the things he loves, which is playing in a band with his buddies. In 1986, Pinnock starred as a child actor in the fantasy drama television series Mr. Magus Is Waiting for You, based on the novel by Gene Kemp and based on the adventures of four young children who are mistaken for a mysterious magician. A year later, he became one of the Pink Windmill Kids at Emu`s World on CITV.[2] He has gone on to guest appear on television shows such as Grange Hill, EastEnders, The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, Footballers` Wives and Casualty, to name a few. His theatrical work has included As You Like It at Stafford Castle at the Staffordshire Shakespeare Festival, followed by collaborations with directors such as Kathy Burke in the Hampstead Theatre`s production of Born Bad and David Grieg and Marisa Zanotti in the official production of the critically acclaimed San Diego Edinburgh Festival, and more recently Topdog / Underdog[3] at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. In 1997, McKinney moved to New York City to perform performing arts and auditions.
After returning to Ireland, he also worked on short films such as Phone (1997), The Boogie Man (1999), Area 51 (2002), Easy Street (2003), A Dublin Story (2003), Past Pupil (2005) and Nuts (2007). Nicholas Pinnock was born in Balham, London, and spent his early childhood in Saudi Arabia. On his return to England, he was enrolled at the age of 12 at the Corona Stage Academy in Hammersmith, London.
